About Lift

Lift was built to remove one of the slowest parts of bookkeeping and AP work: turning incoming documents into something a reviewer can trust inside the accounting system. Instead of adding another portal or inbox, Lift works in the background and prepares drafts where the team already reviews.

Lift is designed for accounting and bookkeeping firms and in-house finance teams that want supplier documents prepared for review inside the right accounting workflow. It turns invoices, receipts, statements, credit notes, and other purchase documents into review-ready drafts, Business Central workflow output, structured Excel files, or agreed handoffs with the source attached or referenced, VAT treatment suggested, and account mapping suggested.

The product is review-first by default. Drafts can appear inside the accounting workflow for review, or Lift can submit directly where a client chooses that route and the destination supports it. That keeps control aligned with the firm's preferred operating model while removing the manual prep work that causes delay and context switching.

Lift is built around real document complexity, not just clean OCR demos. Multi-page invoices, mixed VAT, blocked VAT, reverse charge, multi-language documents, dual-currency or multi-currency layouts, handwritten fiscal receipts, long supplier schedules, and platform payout statements are all part of the workflow Lift is built to support.

Accounting-firm use matters because firms are exacting reviewers of interpretation. Real accountants and bookkeepers would be the first to flag if a supplier match, VAT treatment, account suggestion, currency value, or routing decision was inconsistent with the client's bookkeeping policy. Lift is therefore designed for reliable accounting interpretation, not only reliable data extraction.

Lift is not another accounting portal or a Xero-only capture layer. It is the background automation layer between shared folders and the chosen output route, built so teams can review instead of type.
