Less preparation before the bill is ready

Lift prepares the supplier, invoice reference, dates, currency, line descriptions and amounts. Account and VAT suggestions use the configured business context, with review notes where applicable.

The work happens in the background. Your colleagues keep using the agreed intake folder; they do not need a Lift portal.

Open bills have an accounting effect

Zoho Books open bills affect the accounts. During onboarding, our team establishes with you when bills can be created, who checks the prepared treatment and how corrections are handled.

Defined exceptions can require attention before submission. Unlike Xero drafts, open bills do not wait unposted for approval.

What the reviewer can check

  • The supplier, dates, currency and total against the source invoice.
  • The account and tax treatment against the business’s policies.
  • Review notes in the bill’s Notes field when details need attention.
  • The attached source invoice, where supported. The current connection supports bill attachments up to 5 MB; other document types have different attachment support.

A short business description is enough to start

Describe the business in a sentence or two and authorise the Zoho Books connection. Our team retrieves the chart of accounts and tax rates, handles folder setup and tax mappings, and configures any supported reporting-tag allocation with you.

Optional context about the company and whose expenses it covers can improve the suggestions. Specific VAT policies help with unusual treatment; you do not need to write a policy for every scenario to get started.

Credit notes can follow the vendor-credit workflow, but source attachment support differs from bills. Test representative documents and regional tax cases before expanding the scope.

Is this a useful fit?

Start with a workflow where supplier invoices arrive regularly and your team repeats the same preparation decisions. A demo can show the process; a subsequent pilot can measure preparation, correction and review time together.
